Alright where we left off was me talking about how seamless the luggage and travel should be because you know shipping my luggage there and not having to deal with it going through the airport. I felt it was a great idea (that ended up being the worse decision I made) so how I ended up picking up my luggage and the lodging situation kind of coincide into this next scenario. I did a little bit more research into the extended stay hotel that I chose to book for the trip a few months back because I wanted somewhere that was going to have access to a kitchen and things like that because I was gonna be there for like 9 days. I wanted it to be a place where you know I could cook meals and do things like that. But after looking at those reviews and seeing how dim and grim these reviews were, I was very skeptical because everything was talking about cockroaches and rats and that is not who I wanted to be rooming with during my stay in the Carolinas. So I look into changing my reservation to only 1 day so that I could securely pick up my luggage which was going to be shipped to said hotel apartments trap house, I don't even want to know what to consider this place, but so they wouldn't let me change my reservation to just 1 day they said I had to do at least 7 days. So I ended up canceling the whole reservation booking me an airbnb for an area that was a little bit further away than I anticipated of being. But looked great didn't have a kitchen but I could make do considering I would not have to be living amongst the roaches and rats like in those reviews. The down part being now is, I'm without lodging for my 1st day of travel (ended up a not so easy fix yet comfortably fixed). I land in Raleigh I get my rental car which was a horrible experience I don't know what was going on at RGU rental car facility that day but we were in line for over an hour. I think about an hour and a 1/2 and they had 3 different rental companies in line with 3 people working the counters and just trying to get us all through. It was horrible, but finally got my car and get over to the place that I was originally booked at and when I say fear and blessings and gratefulness all of the things I was feeling pulling into this parking lot, knowing that I did not have to stay there throughout my stay. I was afraid to go in and retrieve my luggage without the fear of me not coming back out with all of my organs it was super sketchy. I got my shit though! Annnnd didn't lose no organs getting it!!
