Coastal Pasties

NC & VA - So this trip has been an interesting one to schedule and plan for. During the process of booking various parts of the trip I was trying to do my due diligence and save some money as best as I could considering the amount of time I was going to be away. So I started looking for flightsAnd the best price that I could find to get me there directly without too many layovers etc because I was going to bring you a checked bag Is impossibly a carry on bag. All of the flights were looking to be in the multiple hundreds of dollars and so I like an idiot went to a third party deal app to see if I could find something better not remembering how I've been screwed like this in the past before. Won't you guessed it I screwed myself. I chose an app called do hop and found what I thought was a great deal for my plane ticket and after confirming the payment and booking I saw that I had 4 separate tickets which made me Leary at the moment but I just kept moving and hit confirm. Well when I went to go back and pay for my luggage and seeing that the flights were booked on good old Frontier Airlines I knew I was in for Surprise gouging. After looking and seeing that it was going to cost me $74 for each ticket that's 4 tickets I had 2 tickets for each leg of the trip there and back that I was gonna have to pay for my luggage for each time so that's $74 times 4 that's just for the one check bag my you on frontier you pay the same amount for a checkbag as you do for a carry on bag these days. When you add up the amount for the bag that was more than twice the amount that I actually paid for the plane ticket so looking at different ways in which I can fix this fuck up that I did I ended up looking into shipping my luggage as opposed checking it through the airline. This ironically unlocked I think a new level of travel and a new hack that I might use in the future. For about 30 or $40 less including when you add taxes and all of the fees and everything I am going to be dropping off my suitcase at UPS to days before my flight and it will arrive at my hotel the day I arrive if not the day before meaning that I can just take my ass to the airport and just LA la through these flights and not have to worry about dealing with any luggage at all.
